The artwork
Portrait of Zofia Brzezicka is recorded under Daniel Kondratowicz (1765–1844) as Lot 210 in Artinfo’s results for the 97th Auction of Works of Art and Antiques.
The listing describes the work as oil on relined canvas, measuring 71 × 59.5 cm. A secondary inscription on the reverse identifies the sitter as Zofia Brzezicka, wife of Marcin Bartłomiej, née Brinck von Brincken, and includes the wording “mal. Wł. Syrokomla.” The record also notes an expert opinion by Urszula Janikowska dated 1998.
Its present whereabouts are unconfirmed. We are actively seeking to locate this painting and would welcome confidential contact from the owner, a representative, or anyone with reliable information concerning its current location.
